Educational Award Grants
Higher education can be expensive, and the costs can add up quickly. Our discretionary Educational Awards can provide grants for members aged 16 and over who are in further education and studying for a recognised qualification. Up to £300 a year could be awarded, which will help towards the cost of books, travel expenses or other items.
To apply:
1. Please read the terms and conditions below for the Educational Award Grants.
2. Complete our application form and get your local Court (branch) Secretary to sign and return it to us at the address below.
Return address:
Foresters Friendly Society, Genesis Centre, Innovation Way, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST6 4BF.
3. If you do not know your local Court (branch) Secretary details, use our Court finder tool here.
4. If it is not possible for you to obtain a signature from your Court Secretary first, please return your completed
form to the address above or via email to [email protected].
5. We will then review the application and confirm its status accordingly.
“I am in my second year of university and need a new laptop for my dissertation. I have had my existing one since secondary school and it was struggling!
With the Educational Award grant from Foresters, I have enough money to buy the laptop which has helped my studies. Thank you again for your help…”
