Frank Robb raises over £600 for the ‘Train One Save Many’ campaign
- His walks have raised over £600 for the ‘Train One Save Many’ campaign , which funds the training of volunteers for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution
- It took 10 walks and three months to complete the task of walking between every single RNLI station in the county
- This is the first of many planned fundraising activities for Foresters Friendly Society’s charity partner, the RNLI. Frank plans to next skydive with the aim of bringing his fundraising total to £1214, the annual crew member training cost. This is Frank’s first fundraising effort on behalf of Foresters Friendly Society having joined a year ago
- Frank was greeted by RNLI volunteers at the finish line of his final Helston to Falmouth walk, who then took him on a tour of the lifeboats
Frank said: “This is a great achievement. Living in Cornwall you know how important the work the RNLI is and the bravery that the volunteers have to have to do the work they do. “I would like to thank all the Foresters Friendly Society members at the Looe branch for their tireless support and fundraising efforts.”
