South Down's Way WalkThe 150km South Down's Way walk, which took place over six of the hottest days of July, was undertaken by Trish Slade and Lucy Clements, Foresters Friendly Society members [pictured] and coincided with the 150th anniversary of the Foresters Friendly Society 'Court Maberley Wyndham' branch.

As well as raising £1,400 for Barnardo's, the Walk formed part of the pair's training for a Kilimanjaro Summit Challenge due to take place from 6-16 March 2014.  As a further part of their training, in the lead up to the Kilimanjaro challenge, Patricia and Lucy will be taking part in a number of similar activities including the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
