Over £1.71 Million Awarded in 2024
At Foresters Friendly Society, we are dedicated to supporting our members when they need us most. In 2024, we were delighted to provide over £1.71 million in discretionary grants and charitable donations, helping to ease financial burdens and provide vital support to members and communities in times of need.
Through our various discretionary support grants, we were able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members in 2024:
- Healthcare Grants: £584,609 awarded to help members with everyday medical expenses.
- Foresters Support Fund Grants: £81,253 awarded to members of any age facing financial difficulties.
- Educational Awards: £91,715 provided to support members pursuing further education and recognised qualifications.
- Convalescent Grants: £68,010 awarded to help members with recovery and rehabilitation after experiencing a short or long illness.
- Foresters Child Support Fund Grants: £97,700 in financial assistance provided for children who need help.
- Help at Home Grants: £13,559 awarded to support members in need of extra domiciliary assistance at home.

All grants offered by the Society are discretionary. The membership benefits we provide aren’t regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or the Prudential Regulation Authority and are regularly reviewed by us to ensure they are relevant to our members. Qualifying periods apply.
