Over £1.4million Awarded in 2025

At Foresters Friendly Society, supporting our members through life’s challenges has been at the heart of what we do since 1834. For nearly two centuries, we’ve helped our members by offering practical help, and a sense of community when it’s needed most.

We’re equally proud to support charitable causes that make a real difference in both our local and wider communities.

In 2025, we were honoured to provide a combined total of over £1.4million in discretionary grants and charitable donations, easing financial pressures and offering support to our members and the communities we proudly serve.

Through our various discretionary support grants, we were able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members in 2025:

  • Dental & Optical Grants: £574,964 awarded to help members with everyday dental and optical expenses.
  • Foresters Support Fund Grants: £62,831 awarded to members of any age facing financial hardship.
  • Educational Awards: £76,490 provided to support members aged 16 and over pursuing further education and recognised qualifications.
  • Convalescent Grants: £70,220 awarded to help members with recovery and respite after experiencing a short or long illness.
  • Foresters Child Support Fund Grants: £107,500 in financial assistance provided for children who need help.
  • Help at Home Grants: £24,730 awarded to support members in need of extra domiciliary assistance at home.
