and top up your child’s Child Trust Fund by post

You can top up your child’s Trust Fund by:

  • Making regular top ups from £5 to £750 per month
  • Making a lump sum top up of £50 or more

The money must come from a UK bank account and the maximum amount of combined contributions (lump sum and monthly payments) paid into the Child Trust Fund for the current tax year cannot exceed the annual limit of £9,000.

What will I need to top up by post?

  • UK bank account name, number and sort code
  • Your child’s Trust Fund policy number
